This Privacy Policy informs you about the types, scope and purposes of processing of personal information (including personal data), which Spatial Reasoning Games may process when you use the application Paper Folding hereinafter referred to as the "App"

Data Collection
We collect all the data anonymously in order to analyze the app’s performance and generate statistics from the play session results in order to carry out a research project about training spatial skills.
The data collected follows these categories:
Personal/Device:
We will collect data such as device ID, time and date of the play session, device region, system language, operative system.
We’ll also collect data provided by the user at the end of the play session such as the game rating, gender, age, level of studies and area of studies.
Game Statistics:
During the play session, the results of the player will be saved, i.e: time to answer a question, option selected, if the answer is correct, points obtained, total attempts and correct/skipped/failed answers.
App performance
For this purpose the app uses the third party service Google Crashlytics (Stated below).
The data collected by Crashlytics services is used in order to improve the app performance, discover errors and crashes and track possible hardware issues.
Data encryption
In order to send the data to the cloud, Firebase services encrypt data in transit using HTTPS and logically isolate customer data.
Data consent
In order to revoke consent to send the data, the user must disable the “Send usage data” toggle located within the settings menu of the app.
Third parties
We use third party apps to store our data and to track possible errors within the game.
For this tasks, we use the services Firebase Realtime Database and Firebase Crashlytics, provided both by Google.

Google Firebase Realtime Database
The Firebase Realtime Database is a cloud-hosted database. Data is stored as JSON and synchronized in realtime.
We use the database to store in the cloud the results of the play session anonymously for further analysis.
Firebase services encrypt data in transit using HTTPS and logically isolate customer data.
Google Firebase Crashlytics
A crash reporting solution for developers of mobile applications, including analyzing crash reports to provide information about how and under what circumstances such applications crashed.
The data collected by Crashlytics services is used in order to improve the app performance, discover errors and crashes.
According to Crashlytics' Terms of Service, Crashlytics collects data such as:
- Device state information
- Unique device identifiers
- Location data
- Usage data
International transfers
We may process your data outside the United Kingdom and the European Union area subject to appropriate safeguards under art 46 GDPR.
Whenever we transfer your personal data out of the EU area, we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to it by ensuring that personal data receives the same protection it has in the EU area.
